iłgoraj – Multicultural Town
The project’s objective is to preserve the existing historical wooden architecture and reconstruct the structures preserved in the local traditions only but characteristic of the urban life in Poland’s south-eastern frontiers at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The main reason for building the “town” is the will to commemorate the presence of national minorities in the pre-war Biłgoraj. The leading motto of this investment project is to create a living organism that will help preserve the evidence of the past heritage, and concurrently will become an area suitable for residential purposes.
