Eugenics – Fighting Racial Degeneration

 

The exhibition Eugenics – Fighting Racial Degeneration, arranged at the University Library in Warsaw, is based on abstract cubic “screen” arrangements of space is dedicated to eugenics – a “science”, originated in the 1880s, of improving the human race and methods of „upgrading” the physical and mental properties of human organism. The exhibition in a synthetic manner shows the methods employed by scientists and politicians with a view to bringing nations up to „a higher level of civilisation” through deliberate and artificial social selection.
