Museum of the Former Extermination Camp in Be³żec
The Nazi Extermination Camp in Be³żec was an extermination centre for Jews, where from March till December of 1942 murdered were approx. 500 thousand people. When creating the exhibition, employed were two components: the extension of the outdoor monument of the extermination camp and the camp’s history. The exhibition space has been divided into 5 zones. Each of them has been symbolically and respectively titled in Hebrew, English, and Polish: Life, Hatred, Deportations, Extermination Camp, Remembrance.
