Museum of the Former Extermination Camp in Bełżec
The Nazi Extermination Camp in Bełżec was an extermination centre for Jews, where from March till December of 1942 murdered were approx. 500 thousand people. When creating the exhibition, employed were two components: the extension of the outdoor monument of the extermination camp and the camp’s history. The exhibition space has been divided into 5 zones. Each of them has been symbolically and respectively titled in Hebrew, English, and Polish: Life, Hatred, Deportations, Extermination Camp, Remembrance.
