Gliwice Museum – “Noble Cast Iron” Exhibition
The essential element of the exhibition’s creativity was the context of plausibility and involvement of visitors in the various aspects of the foundry’s establishment, its spatial development, and cast iron chemistry. The exhibition takes on the emblem of a furnace. Its synthetic dimension (glowing cracks in the structure of the cubes, exhibition blocks), or the cubic forms in the central part of the room against the background of Gliwice’s iconography first of all have utilitarian functions (they illuminate the exhibits).
