Come to
Nizio Gallery:
to see the presentation of documentary materials collected during the March of the Indignants who in May of 2011 launched mass protests in central squares of Spanish cities, e.g. Puerta del Sol in Madrid. On 15 October thousands of protesters supported the Spanish Indignados movement by gathering in several hundred cities around the world.
Amira Bocheńska, together with a group of friends, followed the Indignants as they marched from Barcelona via Madrid to Brussels. At the meeting Nizio Gallery will show an unedited film and a short documentary video, as well as posters, sketches, meeting schedules, and the book titled “Libro de los Pueblos” (so called Book of the People containing entries collected at discussion meetings in towns and cities), which served to facilitate organisation of the civic movement protesting against the existing social, economic, and political order.
The materials will be on show at Nizio Gallery for two weeks, i.e. from 14 till 30 November (Mon-Fri 12:00-17:00 hours) or at other convenient times, if so earlier arranged by telephone. Contact: Paulina Jeziorek, gallery curator, phone: 602-862-683, email: paulina@nizio.com.p
